Reminder: Tonight is Back to School night.  We will all meet in the Church at 6:00 and after introductions & a quick overview we will head to our individual classrooms.  I'll be giving a brief talk about the year and hand out the class syllabus.  Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Your homework for tonight is: 

1) Math: Page 5 problems 5 - 24 odd
Remember the following format for each math assignment:
a) It should be on loose leaf, not in your notebook
b) Name and date in upper right hand corner
c) Assignment centered on the top
d) If there are sentences, you need to write the whole sentence 
e) Box your answer for every problem

2) Practice our Lasallian prayer and discuss the meaning of lines 4 & 5 with a family member.

1. Father in heaven, God of love, all I have and am are yours.

2. Grant that I may become a living sign of your compassion in this world.

3. Grant me the faith to live my life, always in the awareness of your loving presence.

4. Grant me the zeal to serve without reward, to those whom you send me

5. Grant me the charity to bear the burdens of my brothers and sisters.  

6. Teach me to seek your Son’s face, in the last, the lost, and the least.

7. In whatever I undertake, may I seek above all things, to receive your glory, as far as I am able, and as you require of me.

8. Strengthen me by your Holy Spirit, to follow Jesus by living the commitment I make this day.
