Although we don't have a gym teacher, we're still going to go outside and do some physical activity.  Gym is scheduled for Tuesdays & Wednesdays.  Starting tomorrow, please come in your gym uniform on those days.  Thanks!

We're starting spelling & vocabulary instruction this week.  Below is a table of the weekly activities/homework.  This is also in everyone's word study notebook to help get used to the routines.

Your homework for tonight is:

1) Math: Handout on decimals - just the section titled homework on page 2, problems 4 - 6.
note: The math packet going home will be used in class and as homework over the course of the week.  Please be sure to treat it kindly so it lasts!  If it is left at home all notes will have to be copied into your notebooks, which will be a ton of writing, so please remember to bring it back each day!
2) Vocabulary: In your word study notebook, write the dictionary definitions of each of our words: flank, emerge, scurry, accumulate
3)  Spelling: In your word study notebook, write the dictionary definition of seven of your words.
